Should I buy the Fuji Finepix S9600, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 or Nikon Coolpix P5100?

I am a complete amateur photographer, but they have always enjoyed with my point and shoot and have had decent results with my home / vacation photos and I have really wanted to go one step further. I'm taking a photography course digital in about a month's time, nothing too complicated just a 6-8 week course to learn all the basics, etc. So I'm looking to buy a half decent they seem to call the camera bridge and it seems that almost was reduced to 3 above. So really looking for some advice or to go for one of the above or I spend another £ 70 + and go for a canon G9 or anything else, I'm very confused and indecisive. All advice appreciated, thanks ..

Although labeling generic as a "bridge" cameras, they are actually very different in terms of what they offer: – The Panasonic FZ18 offers basically an almost unbelievably long optical zoom, optically stabilized though (compared to other cameras with 18x zoom ") has a slightly better optical quality, but the ISO performance is relatively poor, because a large zoom mandates a small sensor that can not possibly offer a better quality ISO. – The Nikon Coolpix P5100 is the opposite idea: a short optical zoom and a large sensor (not too DSLR-sized, but clearly larger than the Panasonic FZ18) that allows you to perform better rather ISO, which makes the much more capable camera for LIW-light situations (especially since the P5100 also has an optical stabilizer and a very effective, by the way). – The Fujifilm S9600 would a commitment … more or less. It's actually bigger than the Panasonic FZ18, and yet has a 10x optical zoom more modest (not stabilized yet) … by what you can afford to have a sensor bigger than the Nikon P5100, so even better ISO performance. All in all, the Fujifilm S9600 is the best three, if not consider their size and weight of a problem, and you really do not need as much as the Panasonic's zoom offers.
