Will it hurt my S & W 357 # 686, if I shoot dry? Should I use snap caps?
I've read that can damage the firing pin, shooting sec. Is this true for handguns, or just the older models?
My opinion is that this could hurt you if you pull on without the help dry snap caps Let me explain. We are creatures of habit and pattern. For security reasons, you should always remember is always a loaded firearm and treat as such. What should never pull the trigger of the gun unless they absolutely know their status and when your goal is. The process of "loading" his weapon with a maximum appropriate dry-fire and treated exactly like a bullet to keep his mind and everyone else around him, knowing that you are treating the matter seriously. Do you and your gun a favor. Dry Fire only when the weapons have gone through security procedures for proper food handling and consciously go through the fire load dry anyway. Do this only after consulting your local dealer. (My apologies for the excessive detail, but this forum is open and not be reading this thread address the issue of dry-firing a weapon in any case as a matter of chance. Better safe than sorry!)
