Will it hurt my S & W 357 # 686, if I shoot dry? Should I use snap caps?

I've read that can damage the firing pin, shooting sec. Is this true for handguns, or just the older models?

My opinion is that this could hurt you if you pull on without the help dry snap caps Let me explain. We are creatures of habit and pattern. For security reasons, you should always remember is always a loaded firearm and treat as such.
