Camera Flash
I saw a flash like a camera flash, is there something wrong with my eyes?

At first I thought someone was taking a photo of the first time, however, no agency had a camera and everyone was minding their own business. I asked my sister, if someone was taking a photo and said, "No?" Then when I was sleeping on the couch with my eyes closed and head thrown back, another flash shined. Is there anything wrong with my eyes? The first incident yesterday and today happaned second.

It could be caused by a number of things. Do you see spots or squigleys also occasionally? Does it occur more in lower light? Sometimes when you have floaters (which can occur at any age) was seeing spots and flashes of light. The flashes of light are due to photoreceptors in the eye. It may be quite common. You can also get flashes of light from any type of head trauma, also known as "seeing stars". Have you had any head injury lately? However, a more serious condition that can cause flashes of light, is a retinal detachment. Flares are considered a warning sign. This is quite strange, but this is something we do not want to miss. That said, I advise you to consult an ophthalmologist. Can be nothing at all! But better to be safe than sorry. Good luck!
