On a 35mm manual camera. It looks like it just stabs into the shutter button. I don’t get it.
How does it actually attach?
It attaches by screwing into a small hole in the center of the shutter button. The button is wide enough for a finger to press it, but the stabby thing isn’t as wide as a finger, so it requires a much smaller button to press. That smaller button is located inside the wide button your finger presses.
